Everything that has a bigining must have an end. It was on 10th march last saturday when the family of Kibaki, Peter and Mwiti were to leave their home. The jiggers were completly deat and children were very healty. The nurses vere very happy too for their tremendious improvment they had shown.
Since they left their house one month ago the mother Janet was given a medicine from public health office to go and clean and pour some to kill the jiggers. She went a de=ay before swept the house sprinkled the medicine burnt all the sacks they were sleeping on because we gave them matteresses and blankets. So the sisters, volunteer Gigi and Pino all escorted the family with our vehicle. We carried for them the matresses, blancets, cloth and packed enough food to push them for a week or so. However this family lives up in the mountain. It reached a point that the vehicle could Kibanot climp. We left the vihicle down and we climped up in the mountain. We all helped them to carry their luggneges. The children from the neighbouring families were excited to see them and they all accampanied us and helped us to carry some of their things.
Finally we arrived up in the mountain. The children were very happy now without jiggers and much healthier. They have gone to school and they really enjoy being there. We wish them well.
